HUN-REN SZTAKI awaited its visitors with ten different programs, including a drone parade, an autonomous land vehicle, an interactive blockchain simulation, robots, aging clocks, non-contact baby monitoring, and a hardware history exhibition at the Researchers' Night on Friday 29 September 2023.

The 2023 International Academy of Engineering and Technology (AET) Symposium 2023 took place at HUN-REN SZTAKI from 31 August to 1 September 2023. The event featured presentations by international experts and a poster session was held in the Innovation and Demonstration Space of HUN-REN SZTAKI. The three-day programme was co-organised and hosted by HUN-REN SZTAKI.

Co-organised by the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory (MILAB) and the Autonomous Systems National Laboratory (ARNL) – both coordinated by SZTAKI – and Neumann Nonprofit Public Benefit Ltd., the international AI & AUT EXPO was held between 14-15 February 2023 at the Railway Historical Park in Budapest. Dr. József Váncza, leader of the COPROLOGS project, was also a chair at the event.

For the first time in two years, SZTAKI welcomed visitors in person during the international programme series of Researchers’ Night. At the event on 30 September 2022, visitors could find something to do as early as 2 pm, when the first programme opened: devil's cloaks and logic games in the community space of the Kende Street building.

A Stuttgarti Tudományfesztivál egyik kiemelt központi programjaként nyílt meg a SZTAKI és a német Fraunhofer IPA (Institut für Produktionstechnik und Automatisierung) közös kiállítása, amelyet Izsák András stuttgarti főkonzul nyitott meg.

In the Innovation and Demo Space (IDS), some of SZTAKI’s most recent research and development results were presented and demonstrated. SZTAKI is part of the Eötvös Loránd Research Network (ELKH).

New content has been added to the 3D browser-based tour of the Industry 4.0 Centre of Excellence: various tools are now presented in videos.

On 21 April 2022, the Industry 4.0 professional day, also supported by SZTAKI, was held on the campus of Széchenyi István University of Győr.

The institute was represented at the event held at the University of Győr on 13 April 2022 with a drawing robot presented by the Research Laboratory on Engineering & Management Intelligence.
